Featuring the design and distinct personality of each flower, this exhibit focusses on the nuance and particular persona expressed by each. In making the work I could hardly wait to print each piece to show the true spirit and grace inherent in every portrait! Some are elegant, others flashy, bitchy, hip or funny! I have been making this work for over 2 years and each season presents a new approach and collection.
Each subject was either found roadside, grown in my garden, or given as a gift. I could not photograph the piece if I did not immediately connect.

I am honored to have my work “Still Life” presented as part of the celebration of World Art Day in the city of Los Angles. The work will be hung on a giant wall outdoors and will feature the floral personas that have become a focal point of my recent work.
